Glamour Salon Cares For Your Hair, Mind, And Spirit. We Are Chairs Of Change!
Glamour Salon was founded by Victoria “Vicky” Johnson in 1996. After years of booth rentals, Victoria was encouraged by her pastors, Andrew & Viveca Merritt to open a salon by faith. Vicky and her staff have over 50 years of cosmetology experience, including training at some of the leading cosmetology institutions such as Virginia Farrell, Black Hair Is, Glemby International and Dudley Hair Care University, just to mention a few.
The salon grew steadily until November 4, 2008, when the Vicky purchased her the current home of Glamour Salon located at 28801 Southfield Rd, in Lathrup Village Michigan. The new building enabled Glamour Salon to provide enhanced professional services and community service, as well as provide new opportunities for other small businesses. Future plans include national and global expansion, including franchise opportunities.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our purpose at Glamour Salon is to strive for excellence! As a team we grow in knowledge, skill development and prosperity. We share our talents and participate in community programs to provide professional cosmetology services to those less fortunate, thereby demonstrating our commitment to serve the entire community. We are proud to be a part of a profession that enhances and improves the physical appearance and self-esteem of the clients we serve.

service for clients.
